Subject: RE: How are you?
Justin,
Things have been going well here. I have been focused on seeking the Lord
in prayer and fasting. Also, I have been doing a study on "believe" in the NT.
I have a testimony from studying that topic. I have been believing God
for my eyes to be healed, because I have worn glasses since the age of 8.
(I think?)
I stopped wearing glasses to read at the beginning of this year, and
would only use them to drive because my drivers licence said that I wore
them.
I made a commitment that when I changed my licence from a Mississippi to
a Michigan' drivers licence, I would not use my glasses for the vision
test, as an act of faith that my eyes are healed.
When the day came to get the new licence, I remember the first scripture
I looked up when I began the word study on believe. It was Matthew
9:28-29 "And when HE was come into the house, the blind men came to Him:
and Jesus saith unto them, Believe ye that I am able to do this? They said
unto Him, Yea, Lord. Then touched He their eyes, saying, according to
your faith be it unto you.
When I arrived at the Secretary of State, I drove with my glasses. When I
got out the car, I began to debate in my mind whether I should take my
glasses or not. Then the scripture came back to my mind. "Believe ye that
I am able to do this?" I replyed out loud, "Yes I believe."
When I took the vision test, the letters were blurry at first, then I
closed my eyes and opened them again.
I could see clearly!
I passed the test and no longer wear glasses anymore.
I thank Jesus Christ for healing my eyes.
God Bless you Justin. Hope to see you soon.
Your Brother,
Chris
